About MOVE
Across Aotearoa, too many adults are living with pain, infection, and untreated dental problems because they have not been able to access care. There is also strong goodwill within the dental profession to contribute to community-led oral health initiatives that improve access to care in high-need communities.
MOVE (Mobilising Oral Health Volunteers for Equity) provides a practical way for dentists to volunteer their time and skills, and to be connected with initiatives where they can make a real difference.
This kaupapa welcomes clinicians from across the oral health professions who are committed to improving equitable access to dental care.

Three strands, one purpose

Culture: Grounded in cultural foundations responsive to communities
Clinical Quality: The quality, safety and integrity of the clinical work.
Community: The human relationships and community connections that hold the initiative together.
Together, these strands translate the kaupapa into action
